Sankofa Bird of Knowledge- Akan Adinkra Symbols, Adinkra symbols are prevalent throughout Ghana. They are the traditional symbols of the Asante (also known as Ashanti) culture, which developed in the country’s central region. Each symbol represents an ideal or belief, along with a proverb held by the Ashanti. All purchases are donations for Amen Ankh Akademy. Amen Par Ankh is a Sacred Temple of Life- We Grow Food to restore balance in our relationship with the cosmos, earth and our Natural communities by increasing awareness of Life, Health and Environment.
