KILLER KC! All purchases are donations to Amen Ankh Akademy. EMWOT (East Meets West of Troost) Is an organization formed to Galvanize solutions for the Racial divide of Kansas City. Griot Gathering shares the story of local social Activists, who worked to insure the safety of the families and neighborhoods, along the Avenue, known as Troost. Troost is a dividing line for racial disparities. On the Southside of Troost, we have a toxic Nuclear Weapons plant built in the heart of the city... On the north midtown side of Troost Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri, we have African American economically Redlined Youth who dwell within an impoverished community of Non-Accredited Schools "Desegregated" (Caucasion Teachers training middle-class assimilationist values, Police harassment, based on racial profiling, and inadequate legal protection. Low-income housing mixed in with Halfway housing for Prison reentry, Houselessness, and high-priced alien businesses selling cheap clothing and products, and low nutritional Junk foods and fast food restaurants that will shoot to kill over petty theft. Like many cities across the United States, there is segregation between Families, based on the US Racist system.
In the Ancient Societies of Africa, the Griots were the African Storytellers, they shared the news, and current events, and preserving the history to be passed down to the youth... A Nome is the basic building block of a nation. It is made up of five groups of families coming together to form a tribe and five tribes coming together to form a Nome. Building an Eco-Nome-Y like this will ensure that No Family Gets Left Behind!!
Each of the Leadership of this Nome is building their own family in this way and have several Economic opportunities available for anyone interested.
